On January 9th, Consul General Yan Yuqing met with Chen Shaokun, General Manager of Norland African Region. Commercial consul Mr.Guo Pengwen and Chairman of Angel Industrial Miss.Mu Ruihong attended the meeting.
Consul General Yan commented that after building its business many years in Nigeria, Norland has a large number of product beneficiaries already and has made significant progresses and achievements. She paid special attention to Norland’s efforts to introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine to Nigeria and acknowledged its value to China and Nigeria and their people. The Consulate General, with the concept of “ diplomacy for the people”, has collaborated with Chinese enterprises, associations and groups in Nigeria to extensively carry out public welfare activities such as "Chinese culture entering schools and campus" and "lighting up hope for sight rebirth" to support children with cataracts and anti malaria efforts in communities. The Consulate General strives to implement the "small but beautiful and useful" ordinary people oriented projects, actively promote friendship and mutual understanding between China and Nigeria, and hopes that Norland will vigorously promote Traditional Chinese Medicine culture and help the development of China Nepal relations.
Chen Shaokun introduced the company's business situation in Nigeria and stated that it will continue to expand into the Nigerian market in accordance with the requirements of the Consulate General, actively participate in various public welfare activities, and make greater contributions to China Nepal's economic, trade, and cultural exchanges through the dissemination of Traditional Chinese Medicine culture.
